The Shiryo token can be used to allow for players to mint avatars, these will be used in the game as profile pictures and can be wagered against other players when battling.
The Shiryo token can be staked via the Shiryo Dapp to allow for players to earn card packs weekly, with the amount of card packs rewarded varying based on how much is staked. This allows for players to add to their deck for free as well as selling these earned cards on the secondary marketplace.
Cards can be minted with the Shiryo token, allowing serious users to play the game with their own cards as opposed to the free pack available to those who are just starting out.
Players will be able to wager Shiryo tokens against another player, who must match their wager, for the chance to win.
Players will be able to vote in how the game should be balanced by voting with their tokens in the ShiryoDAO, which will be hosted within the Shiryo Dapp.
Players will be able to borrow decks from within the game and play, they can pay in Shiryo tokens to use the deck for a specified number of matches, alternatively players can pay in Shiryo or Eth to borrow specific cards from other players.
To create the rewards for smaller tournaments players will have the option of setting up a tournament with a ‘minimum entry wager’, similar to paying for entry in real life competitions, these pay to enter tournaments will have a prize for the winner in Shiryo tokens.
