Weekly Shiryo Update from The Shiryo Team #32

Happy 2 year Anniversary Wolfpack!

In accordance with our anniversary, this weekend’s update will be presenting

1. A message from the Shiryo Team/Founder
2. A special NFT announcement
3. An update and grand visual showcase of the ‘Shiryo Portal’, presented by our Lead UI/UX designer.

A word from our Founder

Firstly, thank you all so much for joining us on this 2 year long journey. So much has happened and we’ve come so far.

From the very start, it’s been a wild ride filled with a lot of unsuspecting surprises, hard challenges, steep learning curves and so much more.

Though our journey has had its obstacles, our team and community have battled through together to get to this point. We are not only still here, but development is stronger than ever as we draw (hopefully) closer to the end of this bear market.

We could not have done this without you.

As the Founder of Shiryo, I want to personally thank each and every one of you for being here and supporting us in taking the vision of Shiryo into reality.

  • Wolfpack strong.

Anniversary NFT Announcement

In celebration of our 2 year anniversary, we’ll be releasing a limited edition set of NFT’s with unique properties — serving as a great asset to enthusiastic gamers looking to collect, trade or sell unique items.

The NFT’s will be in low supply and serve as new unique looking in-game avatars. Each of these limited edition avatars will allow the user to claim a unique avatar border for the game with distinctly different shapes/styles to the original border.

The special borders claimed through this NFT will not be ‘unlockable’ through any achievements within the game, they’ll strictly only be available to holders of the avatar.

Each holder of these avatars will also be airdropped a founders pack, which of course are no longer publicly purchasable. 1 founder pack will be airdropped per 1 avatar minted, wallets can mint more than one.

Once the avatars have all been purchased — we will allocate a portion of the profits to ‘buy backs’. We will put this to a vote with the community to select when this is actioned.

The avatars will be different to the original in design, look and feel. We intend for them to be visibly unique and highly desirable.

Shiryo Portal Update

Lead UI/UX Designer; Hey there Wolfpack, I’m really excited to share this week’s updates… we present to you — visual highlights of the Shiryo Portal from our login and account creation process!

(For this video update — please download the file from our announcement channel here)

We previously mentioned our wireframe design for onboarding users into the new portal, and we’re thrilled to share that we’ve now transformed those wireframes into a polished, user-friendly design.

Our top priority is to make the onboarding process as simple as possible, especially for non-crypto users. To achieve this, we’ve introduced a two-option signup process:

  1. The traditional method of signing up with an email and password.

2. An option tailored for our existing crypto-powered community members who already have wallets with assets.

The steps depicted in the video are already in development, and we’re planning to roll out parts of the new portal to the community very soon. We’ll release new functionality as we continue to build, enabling you all to secure your unique gamertags as early as possible.

We have also been diligently designing our web-based card collection deck builder – which we’re excited to share updates on its progress in the weeks to come.

Until then, I hope you’ve enjoyed what I’ve had to share today, take care!
